High salt and high COD wastewater is a difficult to treat type of industrial wastewater, commonly found in agricultural chemical enterprises, raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates CDMO、 Paper and other production enterprises. The characteristic of this type of wastewater is that it contains both high concentrations of salt and organic pollutants. Before evaporation desalination, it must undergo strict pretreatment to significantly reduce the concentration of organic pollutants in the wastewater. Otherwise, it is easy to affect evaporation efficiency, increase energy consumption, and equipment loss.

In response to the characteristics of high salt and high COD wastewater, Lingtan Environmental Protection has collaborated with an expert team from Chibi High Quality Development Research Institute to develop treatment plans and pilot equipment.
